The Winnipeg Improv Festival started back in the year 2000! We've been bringing in performers from around the country and around the world and connecting them with our local performers and local audiences. We run hilarious shows, inclusive workshops and fun fun times!

The Winnipeg Improv Festival returns to the Gas Station Arts Centre from Oct 17th to the 19th with shows and workshops! Click on the image to go to the official improv festival site!
The Friday Show
Fri, Oct 18th at the Gas Station Arts Centre at 8 pm. "Are You Afraid of the Dark?" The first half features Club Soda Improv. The second half is a brand-new show by the festival ensemble.
The Late Night Show
Sat, Oct 19th at 10:30 pm at the Gas Station Arts Centre. "Directors Cut!" the show with directors and audience voting!
The Thursday Show
Thu, Oct 17th at the Gas Station Arts Centre at 8 pm. "Home Opener!" A show with local heroes in the first half. True stories of Winnipeg inspire the second half.
The Saturday Show
Sat, Oct 19th at the Gas Station Arts Centre at 8 pm. "The Violet Underbelly" is a noir-inspired show by Parallelogramophonograph (Austin TX) with an opening set by the Festival ensemble.
Workshops!
There will be a festival workshop on Sun, Oct 20th. Details TBA! But there are improv classes and workshops all year long!
Improv Season!
After the Fest we will again be producing a season of improv shows!
The return of the hilarious Monthly Improv Shows at the Gas Station Arts Centre. We are featuring an improv jam show and a special guest spot. Last season the shows were so much fun, this coming season we are looking to make them even more fun!
