The Season of Shows!

Club Soda's 9th Birthday Sleepover

An Improv Show Worth Staying Up For!

Sat, March 28th at 7 PM

Club Soda Improv is turning 9 years old! That’s 9 years of improv shows and too many laughs to keep track of! This show is inspired by all the best parts of a sleepover party, like telling secrets, getting cozy, and giggling all night. In honour of International Women’s Month, Club Soda is also inviting some super special friends to come over. Sleep is very unlikely at this party!

NOTE: We are not literally having a sleepover. You don’t need to bring your sleeping bag. Unless…?

The Video Improv Project

Retro-Impro-Video-Hilario-Futurism

Saturday, May 2nd at 7 pm

This show is part improv show, part live movie, part experimental video, and 100% ALL GOOD! The Winnipeg Improv Festival presents an experimental improv project that it did way back in the early 2000s. The show is inspired by an improvised movie-making show that started in New York called the Neutrino Project. The show sends several improv film crews into the real world who then run their video tapes (remember video tapes?) back to the theatre to screen them live in front of the audience, sight unseen. We will be experimenting with live improv and live movie-making magic to bring you something special.

NOTE: This will be the beginning of a new art movement called “Retro-Impro-Video-Hilario-Futurism,” so you should really come check it out.
