Every show is different and every cast is different too!

This show is the return of the Directo's Cut Improv show! What is the Director's Cut? The Director’s Cut is an improv show where we have several directors in charge of guiding the improv performers through their storylines.
After each round, the audience votes (by applause) for
their favourite storylines.
The least favourite story gets eliminated and by the end
of the show, we are left with only one storyline.
We only see the ending of the most favourite and most voted-for story! (So vote responsibly)
Reviews for the Big Big Improv Show:
I think probably the greatest compliment I could say about this show is that they had Colin Mochrie as a guest star, and the highlight was still a local performer.
Adopting the frame of 4 directors creating an improvised storyline, chapter by chapter, each chapter they’re weeded out by audience vote until only one story is left and able to actually reach its conclusion. Featuring a massive stable of improvisers in order to give each story the room to really breathe and fill out main characters without overlap. Extremely strong improvisers all, the last storyline featured Colin as a scientist and local performer Caity Curtis as his AI creation, Curtis stealing the show.
Absolutely solid as always and highly recommended.

Why sit through one three-hour movie, when you can experience four never-to-be-seen-again flicks in an hour flat?
A revamp of the long-running Big Stupid Improv Show, this production from Stephen Sim features a rotating cast of well-known Winnipeg improvisers working with and competing against one another to create a compelling made-up narrative.
Four designated “directors” provide the genre — western, film noir, time travel or Fast and Furious , for example — and then poll the audience for people, places, things and plot points. The teams run through scenes and the crowd votes on which movie they’d like to watch to conclusion in a series of elimination rounds. A live musician and lighting techs are also forced to fly by the seat of their pants.
The format feels like a chaotic, but entertaining channel-surfing session. It’s a great way to catch some of the city’s top improvisers beyond their respective fringe shows.
FOUR STARS (or HEARTS!)

Stephen Sim leans on the I Heart Improv sign at the Fringe. He's happy about his solo improv show.
